Getting My Life Back
In September 2010, I had been hospitalized from a flare of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and the damaging side effects of multiple chemical medications; including chemotherapy. I was starting my fourth year of my bachelorette of science in nursing program, which I was about to postpone due to my unstable psychological and physiological state. I was classified as disabled by my medical doctor and given a poor prognosis.
When I met Jean-Paul I was barely holding my life together. Jean-Paul delicately provided care for me at my home, until I was able to continue care at his clinic. Jean-Paul was able to provide a caring open ear and thoughtful words. Though his treatment was not so gentle (acupuncture), his mannerisms and personality were patient and kind. As my treatments continued and evolved with Jean-Paul, I began to experience less chronic pain and flares of my rheumatoid arthritis. My energy level has greatly increased, along with an improved mood; I have a positive outlook for my future. I have been able to continue and succeed with full studies of my nursing program.
Acupuncture with Jean-Paul has allowed me to be on minimal medications and maintain my independence. I have been told by multiple medical professionals that it is surprising how good my health and healing is. My physiotherapist has explained that he believes the acupuncture I have received has decreased possible future joint damage, preventing me from needing equipment to help with daily activities.
I truly believe if it was not for Jean-Paul, and his way of providing acupuncture, I would not have been able to succeed with my dreams and future goals. He is an amazing man that has provided much more than he may realize; he has changed my life forever. I have continuously seen Jean-Paul every week; since the day he came into my life. I have received acupuncture from other professionals but have never seen such astonishing results. There is something unexplainable and unique about Jean-Paul’s way.
