Infertility

I’m nervoussaid:
Tonight will be the first time I’ve ever gotten acupuncture. Does anyone have any success stories to tell me, so I can feel less nervous? We are trying to conceive, so can you tell me if it really does help with pregnancy?

  1. I am a massage therapist who works with an acupuncturist. It is great therapy and it works well. Just don’t expect things to happen at once, as with any medical procedure it can take time for it to work and it might take several sessions. I have seen her clients after a treatment and most of them are very relaxed. My husband has started going to her and loves every session. Enjoy it!!

I have had most everyone in my family to my acupuncture doctor. My mom had shoulder pain from her job that was with her for years. One treatment with acupunture and herbs and she has lived without that deep pain for over 10 years now. A friend went and got treatments to quit smoking and another got help with sinus issues.
Remeber that all healing begins with you wanting to feel better- i know it sounds funny that someone would not want to feel better but we can tend to hang on to disease and discomfort the same way we hang onto emotional issues, anger and fear. Just human nature as for helping with pregnancy or you pregnant or trying to get pregnant. either way opening up the energy channels in the body as acupunture does will definately be beneficial.
Relax your body and mind and accept that you have a right to feel good and be healthy.

I got accupuncture for my migraines I get all the time and it WORKS!! I recomend it to everyone. It helps you with all kinds of problems, but I am not sure about pregnancy. If you like your acupuncturist, then just ask!

  4. Acupuncture is great. You do not have to believe in it for it to work. I am not sure why people keep saying that you have to believe in natural health care for it to work. It just works.

If you are already pregnant make sure you tell your practitioner. They can do the treatments in a way that support your pragnancy. If you are dealing with infertility, accupuncture can help but there are no guarantees just like with a medical doctor. They can do fertility treatments, sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t but it can increase the odds.
